More About The Organisation
About the Organisation
The Springfields Academy and the life-transforming education and residential care we provide for young people with complex social and learning difficulties. Springfields is an outstanding learning community that engages pupils and develops positive attitudes to learning. Staff are confident and skilled in building positive relationships that help to break down barriers, build self-esteem and challenge disaffection.
For vulnerable young people it is often a long road to success. Through the provision of a structured, learning environment, we build that success through challenge, personalisation and innovation. Our aim, for all our pupils, is for a full and fulfilling independent life in which they are equipped to make positive contributions to their community. We help our pupils develop the skills that enable them to be independent and to manage their own behaviour. As a result, Springfields pupils learn to reflect and develop as citizens. We offer a flexible work related curriculum including vehicle maintenance, building and catering.
