About the Organisation
We are a hands-on, all-inclusive care farm, based near Trowbridge, Wiltshire. We provide a fun, stimulating farming experience for children and adults of all ages and abilities.
We offer the following services and products:
Placements for clients, and accredited courses;
Work experience for college/school students;
Riding lessons via our Larkrise Riding for the Disabled Group; and carriage driving;
Farm Club every other Saturday morning for children of all abilities, from 5 - 16 years;
Guided educational farm visits for school groups;
Sensory farm visits for care home residents;
Farm produce for sale;
A pet holiday service for small animals and poultry.
Larkrise Community Farm welcomes visitors from Monday to Friday 10.00am - 3.00pm. Every other Saturday there is also a morning club for children where jobs include feeding, grooming,mucking out pens and stable sand re-bedding with clean straw, filling hay-racks and nets, cleaning and filling water buckets, egg collecting, pony riding and tack cleaning. A snack is provided mid-morning. The club is very popular so there is normally a waiting list to join; get in touch for more information and to discuss your requirements. Holiday activities also run at the farm.
