More About The Organisation

Organisation Description

About the Organisation

We provide an opportunity for physically impaired people to sail in Challenger and Wayfarer dinghies on Chew Valley Lake, Chew Stoke, Near Bristol.
Opening times: Saturdays from April - Beginning of October. AGM in March. Affiliated to Sailability. We have a Disabled toilet on both the ground floor and second floor. The ground floor also has an disabled changing room with plenty of space.

Our members have a wide range of disabilities including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Amputees and general disabilities caused through accidents. The club does have a policy to make sailing available to as many people as possible but due to limited resources and availability of help we cannot guarantee to meet the needs of all.
