More About The Organisation
About the Organisation
We are a specialist setting providing Early Years Education and therapeutic services to children with additional needs from Bath and North East Somerset. We provide an environment where staff work in partnership with parents and multi-discipline professionals promoting good practice in early intervention services.
Our high ratio of staff to children together with our strong links with Health and Education enables us to care for children’s varying needs. Our most recent Ofsted report was ‘Outstanding’ and parents regularly feedback that our pre-school helps the whole family feel supported. We are an independent limited company with charitable status.

How do you promote positive relationships and ensure good, ongoing communication with families?
The staff maintain consistent, honest and fluid communication with families through a Home/Setting Communication Book which is brought in every session and ensures that the team and families sustain positive relationships. Regular meetings, providing information sessions and social events all contribute to effective and secure parent partnership.
Families are updated regularly with six-eight weekly meetings between themselves, the Senco, Speech and Language Therapist/Assistant and a representative from another setting if relevant. At these meetings their child’s progress will be discussed and we endeavour to ensure our families are fully informed about any additional services and support that they may want to access. The activities are to be supported at home and school. We will actively sign post families to the relevant organizations where necessary highlighting a multi-agency and integrated working ethic.
We run a successful Stay and Play session one morning a week which welcomes families to visit if they have any concern regarding their child’s development. This is a wonderful introduction to our school along with a Home Learning Service that finds many families then attending day sessions. We provide a service for the 0-5 year olds and have positive relationships with local schools.
