About the Organisation

Super 1 Cricket sessions are weekly (term time only) aimed at young people aged 12-25 years of age with a mild/moderate learning difficulties, or with a physical disability.

The sessions are fun, played with a softer ball and will teach the basics of cricket! Super 1s will not only improve an individual’s cricketing ability, but also their social and lifelong learning skills

Who can use your service?

Young people with a disability can access our service. Our sessions use cricket so the young person will need to enjoy cricket or be able to have the support of someone to engage.

How do you aim to meet the unique needs of the child?

Our cricket coaches coach the individual, so we hope that our coaches will be tailor the sessions to ensure that everyone has some success.

How do you promote positive relationships and ensure good, ongoing communication with families?

We keep in regular contact with families and welcome feedback on our sessions. We also welcome families to engage as volunteers at our sessions (subject to DBS)
