About the Organisation
Children and young people who do a lot to help look after a member of their family are often called young carers. Looking after someone can make you feel good, but it can also make you worry and feel stressed out. Being a young carer sometimes makes things tougher at school too. You might have to take care of your brothers and sisters or help the person you look after so you don't get much time for homework, going out or being with your friends.
You don’t have to feel alone, the Carers’ Centre is here to help young carers of all ages who live in Bath and North East Somerset.
If you are aged between 14 and 25, the Carers’ Centre offers extra personalised and group support, as well as help with health and fitness.
If you’re worried about asking us for help, ask someone you trust, like your doctor, teacher, mum or dad to get in touch for you.
