About the Organisation

Blue Balloons, a new singing, dancing and story time group for children under five with Special Educational Needs, is being planned for September in Larkhall, Bath.

Vicki Cullen, a local SEN specialist, is in the process of applying for grants, and would like local families who are interested in joining to get in touch so she can gauge interest.

The group is planned for Wednesday afternoons in New Oriel Hall, Larkhall. Lasting for 40 minutes, the session will be split between singing, dancing and storytime activities. The classes will cost £4.50 per session paid termly.

Says Vicki: “I have been teaching in special education for a long time and although groups running are inclusive, I felt it would be good to have a group especially for children with special needs. This way it can be a connection for the adults too who may be looking for a support system. It also allows me to focus on using PECS symbols and Makaton as well as creating sessions that are specific for children with additional needs.”

To register your interest for Septembe 2017 and beyond, please text or phone Vicki on 0749 387 1750
