About the Organisation
Time2Share has joined forces with West of England Centre for Inclusive Living (WECIL) offer to a variety of services to disabled children and young people. WECIL is a local charity run by and for disabled people in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Time2Share@WECIL offer a befriending service which links volunteer befrienders with a disabled young person to go out and about or offer 1:1 support in the home. This offers an opportunity for carers to have a break which supports them to continue in their caring role.
We also offer regular social groups for young people aged 8-21 with disabilities in the area. The aim of these groups is to get together and have fun in a safe environment. We ensure that the young people attending are involved in planning activities with the session workers so that each group is tailored to what the young people would like to do.

Additional and Special Educational Needs
How do you aim to meet the unique needs of the child?
Time 2 Share provides short breaks for disabled young people and their families. Our volunteer befrienders offer one-to-one support for social and leisure activities in Bath, North East Somerset and Bristol.
Since 1972 we have been providing a short break/befriending service to give disabled children and young people, who may be socially isolated, the extra support and stimulation they need. We link volunteer befrienders to offer 1:1 support, company, independence and fuller participation in social and leisure activities. This gives their carers the opportunity to have a break which supports them to continue in their caring role.
