Keynsham ADHD Group provides support, advice and a sense of community spirit to those who live and or work/volunteer with children and young people under the age of 18, who have symptoms of, or a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), who live in Keynsham and the surrounding areas. Our monthly meetings are held at Community At 67, Queens Road, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 2NW from 7-8.30pm.
Our meetings are full of friendly people, and are a relaxed affair. We have guest speakers who are specialists in some aspect of diagnosing, living with, educating, and/or supporting those in contact with children with ADHD. At other times, we have a specific, related topic to discuss, and sometimes we just meet with no particular structure for those attending to vent, chat and socialise with others in the same boat.
Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits are provided, and children are welcome too - there is a separate room within the building where they can have a laptop each with internet access to play games or do homework, or they can read books or play board games. An adult will supervise them at all times.
We have a Facebook page with more details, including who the upcoming speakers are, and our meeting dates - please search for Keynsham ADHD Group within Facebook.
We really look forward to meeting you.
